GFI LANguard Scan Summary Overview

 

After completing a entire network scan, GFI LANguard will display a scan summary that graphically displays the vulnerability level of the scanned computer,  the results statistics and errors.

 

1. Vulnerability level rating

The vulnerability level indicates the vulnerability level of a computer/network based on the number
and type of vulnerabilities and/or missing patches found. High vulnerabilities and/or missing severity
patches will be weighted a high vulnerability level with red color code

2. Results Statistics

The Results statistics show you what are processing with the results such as Audit operations processed, Missing security updates, Other vulnerabilities, Potential vulnerabilities, installed applications and Open ports.

3. Errors

If any errors encountered during scan, the will be listed in the bottom as showing the below screens hot (if you don't see them, click on the errors. In our example, The error message "UDP scan is not reliable on this machine" because these computers are Windows Domain Controllers and some UDP ports may be blocked.

4. Other Information

The other useful information is Top most vulnerable computers. The LANguard scan report lists top most vulnerable computer so that you can view them by just double click on them. If you click on one of top most vulnerable computer, it will display the Computer Report with Vulnerability level and Top 5 issues to the address (device).
