How to enable delegation for Hyper-V to access VM in windows 2012  - Step by step with screenshots

After creating a cluster in Windows 2012, you will need to enable the delegation required to ensure the Hyper-V server can access file shares when running SMB-based virtual machines. Hyper-V computers must have their computer accounts enabled for delegation. To do that, please follow these steps:

1. Click Tools in Server Manager.
2. Select Active Directory Users and Computers.

3. Navigate to Computers.
4. Click VM name, and then on the Action menu, click Properties.
5. Click the Delegation tab, click Trust this computer for delegation to specified services only, then select Use any authentication protocol.
6. Click Add, then click Users or Computers

7. Type cluster server name, for example \\clusterfs and then click OK
8. From the list of available services in the Service Type column, select cifs

9. Click OK twice

10. Click Windows PowerShell.
11. Type Restart-Computer "VM name" –Force, for example Restart-Computer HV –Force and then press ENTER.
