How to Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on Vista

To enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on Vista, please follow these steps:

1. Click Start.
2. Select Network.
3. Click on the Network and Sharing Center.
4. Click Manage Network Connections.
5. Right click on the Connection and select Properties.
6. Highlight Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
7. Click the Advanced button in the General tab.
8. Click the WINS tab. 
9. Click the Enable NetBIOS Over TCP/IP button.
10. Click Ok to close.
