How to Audit Network & Software

 

Network & Software Audit groups security vulnerabilities as follows:
• System Patching Status
• Ports
• Hardware
• Software
• OS Data

 

To view Network & Software Audit on a computer, select the computer from the left pan and then click Network & Software Audit.

 

1. System Patching Status

System Patching Status is a very useful tool. It checks installed patches and service patches based on the OS patch and SP database. It reports any missing patches, missing Service Packs or Installed Patches on a target computer. 2. Ports

Open ports present a computer or whole network security vulnerabilities. Hikers can attack your computer or network from the open ports.
