In Windows 2008 R2, you can use Remote Desktop Service manager to view information about users, sessions, and processes on Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) servers, and can also perform certain administrative tasks; for example, you can disconnect or log off users from their Remote Desktop Services sessions. However, this legacy Remote Desktop Service manager has been replaced by RDMS in server 2012 RDS. The user interface on Windows 2012 RDMS looks different as shown below.
