How to create a Virtual machine in VMware ESXi 5.5

 

 

 

 

How to create a Virtual machine in VMware ESXi 5.5

 

1. Login vSphere Client using root account.

2. Click Getting Started tab and then Create a new virtual machine.


3. In Configuration, select Typical for creating a new virtual machine with the most common devices and configuration options or Custom for creating a virtual machine with additional devices or specific configuration options.   

4.  In the Name and Location, enter the virtual machine name.

5. In storage, select the storage for install VM.

6. Select VM version.

7. Select Guest OS.

  

8. Configure RAM for VM.

9. Select NIC for VM.

10. Select SCSI Controller.

11. Create or selelct a disk for VM.

12. Assign the disk size for VM.

13. Configure Advanced Options.

14. Click Finish to create the VM.

15. After the creating, you should have a new VM under the host.
