Use nslookup command: set type=mx and domain name, for example chicagotech.net.

Symptoms: You have migrated Exchange 5.5 to 2000 successfully. You want to remove the existing Exchange 5.5 servers from an Exchange 2000 Server administrative group, but You cannot use Exchange System Manager to do so.

Resolution: You should use Exchange Server 5.5 Administrator program to remove these computers.
