Introducing Five Ways to Restore VMs Using Altaro Hyper-V Backup - Step by step with screenshots
Altaro Hyper-V Backup offers many ways to restore VMs or File Level Restore as described below. 1. Restore Overwrite that restores a VM to its original location and will retain the same name, configuration and IP address. To do that, click Restore VMs on Dashboard. Select the backup version. Check Restore VM to original location. Click Restore Select VMs to start the restoration.
In the Sandbox Restore Schedule, reelect VM, and schedule. Or click Perform a Sand Restore Now to start the restore to start the restore.
5. File Level Restore that restores individual files and folders from any Guest VM backup. To run file level Restore, click File level Restore in Granular Restore.
Select Backup Version. Select Temporary Restore Location. Click Prepare
