Connecting SharePoint to UNC Network Shares

With FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions on Windows Server 2003, you can create SharePoint to access shared folders on your network using the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) standards.  This scenario requires that your servers be in a Microsoft Active Directory directory services domain environment, and both server computers must be running Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
