How to check the status of replying mail in Exchange 2003

To check if your Exchange server relays mail, you can use telnet to test it. You need to do that outside your LAN.

C:\> telnet

Welcome to Microsoft Telnet Client

Escape Character is 'CTRL+]'

Microsoft Telnet> set localecho

Local echo on

Microsoft Telnet>open chicagotech.net 25
