How to exclude A a user from DirSync  - Step by step with screenshots 

 

If you have some users you don't want to synchronize them to the office 365 or Windows Azure Active Directory, you may follow these steps.

 

1. In ADUC, create a new OU, for example filter. Move those users you want to exclude from the sync.

 

2. Run Synchronization Service Manager follow here:

"C:\Program Files\Windows Azure Active Directory Sync\SYNCBUS\Synchronization Service\UIShell\miisclient.exe"

3. Click Management Agent.

4. Open the Properties of Active Directory Connector.


5. Highlight Configure Directory Partitions. Click Contains under Credentials.   

6. Login you domain admin account.

7. Uncheck the filter folder, which will exclude any user in the folder to be symphonized.

 

8. Now, follow this page to run DirSync:
