How to create DAG in Exchange 2013  - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Create a Database Availability Group (Note: not more than 15 character name).

1) Login EAC.

2) Navigate to server>database availability, and click on +

 


3) Enter the DAH name, Witness server, and member of DAG.

2. Add Mailbox servers to the DAG (up to 16)
1) Click the computer icon with +.

2) in add mailbox database copy, enter the mailbox database name, mailbox server, and the server name hosting the copy of the database.

3. Determine passive copies of your active database(s).
