How to create a new distribution group in Exchange 2010  - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Open Exchange EMC.

2. Navigate to Microsoft Exchange>Microsoft Exchange On-Premiers>Recipient Configuration.

3. Right click on Distribution Group and select New Distribution Group.

 

4. in the New Distribution Group, you have two options: New group or Existing group. In our example, we have an existing group.


  

5. Browse and select he existing group and click OK.

  

6. Click Next to continue.

 

7. Enter the group informastion.

8. Confirm the configuration summary by clicking New.

 

9. Click Finish to complete the configuration.
