 How to configure Virtual Desktop Pool in Windows 2008 R2 - Step by step with screenshots 

 

After you install RD Virtualization Host, you are ready to configure the Virtual Desktop Pool. Here is how.

 

1. Open Remote Desktop Connection Manager.

2. In the Action pane, click Create Virtual Desktop Pool.


 

3. in the Select Virtual Machines page, select the VMs you want to add to the pool.

 

4. In the Set Pool Properties, enter the display name and Pool ID.

 

5. in the result, click Finish to complete the configuration.   

 

6. Now, if you access rdweb, you should see the Virtual Desktop Pool.
