Remote Desktop connection authorization policies (RD CAPs) allow you to specify who can connect to an RD Gateway server and Remote Desktop resource authorization policies (RD RAPs) allow you to specify  which  internal network resources that remote users can connect to through an RD Gateway server.

To configure RD CAPs and RAPs, please follow these steps.

1. Open RD gateway Manager from the Server Manager.

2. Navigate to RD Gateway Manager>Server Name>Policies.

3. Right click on Connection Authorization Policies and select Properties.

4. You can setup user group membership and Client computer group membership under Requirement.

5. To manage RDG RAPs, right click on Resource Authorization Policies and select Properties

6. You can configure User Groups, Network Resources and Allowed Ports.
